Netflix is easily the most versatile streaming service globally and offers the broadest range of movies, documentaries, cartoon shows, or TV series. And while it doesn’t come close to Amazon Prime Video in terms of cost, the streaming service has gone for a quality-over-quantity approach. Maybe that’s why it continues to crush the competition.
The streaming service can be accessed from almost every platform, including streaming media players, smart TVs, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, smartphones and tablets, and PCs and laptops.
But even the best software is not entirely free from bugs, and Netflix is an excellent example of this. We previously highlighted how the Netflix iOS app encountered a playback error that stopped all content from playing. And now, there is a slew of complaints regarding another similar issue that is once again blocking Netflix users from consuming the content.

The only boxes that are showing and active are the Categories. My List is empty, all other sets are just greyed out boxes. Have re-installed the app without success.

As is evident from the above complaints, the Netflix app on iOS is not loading content or thumbnails. All users get is a blank home screen. Even if the content loads, they show up as grey boxes, making it nearly impossible to select a favourite show or next movie. Going by the complaints, it seems that the issue started recently – only a day or two ago.
Still, if you are one of those users whose Netflix app is not loading on iOS, you will be pleased to know that Netflix support on Twitter has just acknowledged the issue.
The tweet states that they are aware of the issue and are working on fixing it. Netflix was also kind enough to leave a workaround – to close and restart the Netflix app, which you are, of course, free to try. If all went well, the problem should randomly disappear as soon as it occurs.
